While Marty (read more about him below) has been painting for more than 15 years, Dukes Painting has been in business in Tulsa since 2008. We’ve slowly grown from a one man band into t close knit family of painters we are today.
We provide unequaled service to our painting clients. It is our mission to make it as easy on you as is humanly possible. You will be completely satisfied with your project before you pay us anything. We live or die based on your referrals.
Our secondary goal is to create jobs and community opportunities for as many people as possible. We are the only residential painting company in town with an apprenticeship and official training program. We’re building something big here. And we want to share it with people in the community.
Of course we are in business to make money. Who isn’t? But we believe that Tulsa is a great city and has given us so many opportunities that we want to give back where we can. Our continued growth allows us to the chance to help out in the community through volunteering and charitable giving.

Marty and Crew did a terrific job! The wood base, door trim, and crown molding needed a lot of repair and were in fair condition. With their help, the home's 1950's wood-work looks nearly new!! Also, our ceiling had a lot of previous staining and cracking, and this crew got it smoothed out. Lastly, they squeezed us into their schedule on short notice and were priced competitively with other quotes we had received. They did the work while my family and I traveled, and we returned home to a house that was newly painted and left in great shape! We trust them with our home while being away - they even texted when we could turn the alarm back on for the night at the end of each day. We would hire them again, without hesitation!

When I first met with Marty for an exterior house painting estimate it was clear he had high intention
and sincere effort, he was thorough in his examination of my home for repair and paint requirements.
He explained his process, was cordial, professional and explained I would receive his bid by the evening.
Through sincere effort he provided me with the most complete and precise bid I have ever received for any project and it was delivered as promised, skillful execution.
Then through high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution he completed my
paint job on time, at the bid and with attention to detail, collaboration with the me about colors, testing out some samples on my house.

Hi, I’m Marty Dukes. Owner of Dukes Painting. I’ve been painting virtually my entire life. While simultaneously working in the painting field, I attended college in Kansas City and later, in Sydney Australia.
When I was 20 years old I spent a year at University in Sydney Australia. To make a living while there, I worked several short term painting projects and spent my weekends street performing as a Juggler! Oh, did I mention that one of my hobbies is juggling and Unicycling? In fact, I am a current member of the Tulsa Juggling Club *link and have worked as a professional entertainer in the past.
I began painting in the summers when I was 16 years old and have been painting ever since. By the time I was 18 I was a paint foreman and by the time I was 20 I was in charge of 10 painters. Most of my experience has been in the residential market, with a little light commercial and industrial thrown in from time to time.
In Fact, Painting has taken me all over the world. One of my most challenging (and rewarding) assignments was my contract in the US Antarctic Program. In the winters of 2009 and 2010 I spent over 13 months deployed to Antarctica as a contract Paint Foreman. With challenging terrain, climate, and working conditions, my painting chops were really tested. I spent most of my time running and organizing the paint shop at McMurdo Station (the US programs main support hub) but spent a lot of time in the deep field and at the South Pole Station painting and maintaining the facilities there.
